Bits Secure IT Infrastructure LLC, an IT systems integrator and managed services provider in Oman and the UAE, is hiring a PABX / IP Telephony Engineer for our office in Ruwi, Muscat. Immediate joiners preferred. Key responsibilities: - Install, configure and commission IP PBX systems (Avaya IP Office / Aura, 3CX) for enterprise customers - Configure extensions, dial plans, call routing, hunt groups, IVR / auto attendant and voicemail - Set up and troubleshoot SIP trunks, gateways and SBCs with local telecom providers - Configure voice VLANs and QoS with the network team - Diagnose call quality and registration issues using SIP traces and packet captures, and resolve faults to root cause - Provide L2/L3 support under AMC and SLA contracts, onsite at customer sites and remotely - Prepare design documents, BOQs, test plans and as-built documentation Requirements: - Minimum 4 years of hands-on PABX / IP telephony experience - Proven hands-on experience on Avaya or 3CX (both is an advantage); experience with Yeastar, Grandstream, Panasonic, Mitel or Asterisk/FreePBX is a plus - At least 2 years with a System Integrator or Managed Services Provider delivering telephony projects for external customers (in-house IT administrators of a single company's phone system will not be considered) - Good knowledge of SIP, RTP, VoIP codecs, TCP/IP, VLANs and QoS - Avaya / 3CX certification is an advantage - Willing to complete a practical hands-on technical assessment - Good communication skills in English - Currently in Oman with a transferable visa / NOC, and able to join within 1 week - Valid Oman driving licence preferred Benefits: company visa, health insurance, transportation, annual air ticket and other benefits as per Oman Labour Law.
