Kitchen Technician Job Summary We are seeking skilled and experienced Kitchen Technicians to handle the installation, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of commercial kitchen equipment. The ideal candidate should have a strong technical background in electrical and electronic systems, with hands-on experience in maintaining commercial kitchen appliances. Key Responsibilities Install, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial kitchen equipment. Perform maintenance and troubleshooting of combi ovens, gas and electrical cooking equipment, dishwashers, ice machines, refrigeration systems, and other commercial kitchen appliances. Read and interpret electrical circuit diagrams, equipment operation manuals, and troubleshooting guides. Identify equipment faults and carry out necessary repairs to ensure smooth and efficient operation. Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize equipment breakdowns and downtime. Ensure all maintenance and repair activities are carried out safely and efficiently. Work independently with minimal supervision and demonstrate flexibility in handling assigned tasks. Qualifications and Experience Diploma in Electrical or Electronics Engineering preferred. Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in the installation, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of commercial kitchen equipment. Practical knowledge of electrical and gas-operated cooking equipment, refrigeration systems, dishwashers, ice machines, and combi ovens. Ability to read and understand electrical circuit diagrams, operation manuals, and troubleshooting guides.
