I am from Sri Lanka currently staying in Muscat (Al Khuwair), Sultanate of Oman on a Tourist Visa (Visit Visa) and actively seeking for a position of Quantity Surveyor.
Having overall 16 years of hands-on experience in Gulf (Qatar & United Arab Emirates). in Building, Infrastucture, Pipeline, Road & Civil projects with regard to QUANTITY SURVEYING.

Roles & Responsibilities:
Preparation of interim claim applications as per site execution & finalize with Engineer
Change Management – identify and prepare variations, negotiate & finalize with Engineer
Sub-contract Management – check invoices & variation claims, prepare final accounts Communicate & Maintain records of all sub-contractors’ payments
Carry out cost estimates for alternative design solutions & conduct study of cost impact for any variation / value engineering proposed by the PM / Client

Determine and advise Commercial Manager on contra-charges to sub-contractors & suppliers for any defective works or damages of materials and property etc.

Preparation of EOT claims & Contractual Letters to the Client and the Engineer
