Position: Project Engineer Number of Vacancies: 1 Location: Sultanate of Oman Employment Type: Full-Time Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Project Engineer to oversee and manage construction projects, including residential compounds, villas, and other building developments. The successful candidate must have strong expertise in project execution, modern construction methods, precast systems, building materials, and PDO requirements. The candidate must be capable of managing projects from planning and execution through completion, ensuring that all works meet the required quality standards, project specifications, safety requirements, and deadlines. Key Responsibilities Plan, coordinate, and supervise construction projects, including residential compounds, villas, and other building works. Manage day-to-day site activities to ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and according to approved drawings and specifications. Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, clients, and site personnel to ensure smooth project execution. Review architectural, structural, and engineering drawings and ensure proper implementation at the construction site. Demonstrate strong knowledge of modern construction techniques, precast concrete systems, and innovative building solutions. Identify suitable building materials and construction methods to improve quality, productivity, and cost efficiency. Monitor project progress, prepare progress reports, and address technical issues and construction challenges. Ensure compliance with applicable PDO requirements, project specifications, HSE standards, and quality control procedures. Manage project schedules, manpower, materials, equipment, and other resources effectively. Conduct site inspections and coordinate testing, inspections, and handover activities. Prepare and review project documentation, method statements, material submittals, and technical reports as required. Use relevant engineering and project management software for planning, design coordination, reporting, and progress monitoring. Ensure effective communication between the site team, management, clients, and other stakeholders. Identify project risks and implement appropriate corrective actions to prevent delays and cost overruns. Required Qualifications and Requirements Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline. Location: Must currently be residing in Oman. Driving License: Must hold a valid driving license recognized in Oman. Language Skills: Must be fluent in English and Arabic, both spoken and written. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of relevant GCC construction experience. Project Execution: Excellent experience in executing and managing residential compounds, villas, and similar building construction projects. Construction Methods: Good knowledge and practical experience in modern construction techniques and precast construction systems. Building Materials: Strong knowledge of building materials, construction solutions, specifications, and applications. PDO Requirements: Good working knowledge of applicable PDO standards, procedures, and project requirements. Engineering Software: Proficiency in relevant engineering and project management software, such as AutoCAD, Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar tools. Nationality: Open to all nationalities.
