# JOB VACANCY – WAREHOUSE COOLING SYSTEM TECHNICIAN **Location: Oman** We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced **Warehouse Cooling System Technician** to join our maintenance team. The ideal candidate must have strong practical experience in industrial refrigeration, cold room systems, chiller units and warehouse cooling equipment. ### Job Responsibilities 1. Install, inspect, maintain and repair industrial refrigeration and cooling systems. 2. Perform maintenance and troubleshooting of cold rooms, chillers and freezer rooms. 3. Monitor and maintain the required temperature in warehouse storage areas. 4. Inspect and maintain compressors, evaporators, condensers, cooling coils and refrigeration pipelines. 5. Diagnose refrigeration system failures, gas leakage and temperature fluctuations. 6. Perform refrigerant gas charging, recovery and leak detection using approved procedures. 7. Troubleshoot electrical control panels, wiring, circuit breakers, contactors and motors. 8. Maintain temperature controllers, thermostats, sensors and automatic defrost systems. 9. Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance according to maintenance schedules. 10. Respond to emergency breakdowns and restore cooling systems as quickly and safely as possible. 11. Maintain daily maintenance logs, equipment inspection reports and breakdown records. 12. Ensure all cooling systems operate efficiently and maintain the required storage conditions. 13. Follow workplace safety procedures, LOTO and proper refrigerant handling practices. 14. Coordinate with warehouse operations and management teams regarding maintenance activities. ### Required Technical Skills - Strong knowledge of industrial refrigeration and HVAC systems. - Hands-on experience with cold room and chiller maintenance. - Knowledge of compressors, evaporators and condensers. - Experience in refrigerant gas charging and leak detection. - Knowledge of electrical wiring and control panel troubleshooting. - Understanding of temperature sensors, thermostats and digital controllers. - Knowledge of refrigeration piping, valves and defrost systems. - Ability to identify and resolve technical faults independently. - Experience in preventive and corrective maintenance. - Ability to prepare maintenance reports and inspection records. ### Qualifications & Experience - ITI / Diploma in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (RAC), HVAC or Electrical Engineering. - Minimum 3–5 years of relevant practical experience preferred. - Previous experience in industrial warehouses, cold storage or logistics facilities is highly preferred. - Basic English communication skills. Language required Hindi , English .
